Principles of safe use of pesticides.

Pesticides are indispensable pest control tools in today's farming. In order for pesticides to maximize their effectiveness in preventing and controlling pests, farmers must adhere to the 4 right principles: Right drug - Right dose - Right time - Right method.

In addition, when using pesticides, attention must be paid to the principles of safe use of drugs such as:

  1. Medicines should be stored in a high, locked place out of reach of children.
  2. Read the medicine label carefully before use. Only use the medicine when it has been officially registered (written on the label).
  3. Wear protective gear when working with chemicals such as masks, gloves, etc., paying special attention to seed treatment chemicals.
  4. Be careful when mixing the medicine to avoid contact with skin, eyes...
  5. Check the sprayer before use and wash the sprayer thoroughly before and after use.
  6. Do not spray against the wind.
  7. Do not eat or drink while handling the medication.
  8. Wash thoroughly after contact with medication.
  9. Collect used packaging, do not litter, especially near water sources.

According to current regulations, the introduction of safety instructions for plant protection drugs is mandatory in drug introduction seminars.
