According to statistics from the Plant Protection Department, up to now, more than 300 species of pests are resistant to pesticides through many different mechanisms. Herbicides are important tools for farmers to protect crop yield and quality by preventing weeds from competing with crops for nutrients, light, space and water.
In recent years, pests have been a concern for farmers. To completely control these pests, farmers have to mix many types of pesticides and spray them over and over again. This is both costly and ineffective, and can easily lead to pesticide resistance. This affects the economy of each farmer, their health, and the environment.
